In this talk President Erying discusses how each of us will face challenges in our lives. Those challenges can seem overbearing at times with no end in sight. I know I have felt this way many times. The good thing is that we have help. We don't have to do it alone. We have family, friends, ward members, colleagues, and above all our Savior Jesus Christ. Please if you are struggling, reach out to someone. Let Heavenly Father work through others on his behalf. Don't let stubbornness and pride get in the way of asking for help. On the other side of it be ready to help when someone is in need. Be willing to set aside less important things to love and care for another person. I believe this is what truly makes us happy! Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know and love you. They want you to return to Them and become like Them. Your success is Their success. You have felt that love confirmed by the Holy Ghost when you have read or heard these words: “For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”2
Thank you to all who have helped with recent service opportunities. You know who you are and I really appreciate your willingness to serve. Also thanks to everyone for keeping up on your ministering efforts. This is a hard time for each of us and I believe we need each other now more than ever.
Please let me know if you have anything the missionaries can do. They can help with anything that is outside. They are also able to teach lessons over Zoom so please sign up for those. Right now is a tough time to be a missionary so anything you can do to help is very much appreciated.
