Weekly Note - Temple, Keep Covenants, EQ Blog Note

Hey everyone

I hope you’re having a great weekend! I want to send out a couple reminders of things that are coming up…
Friday June 1st – Stake Temple Day. If you need any information let me know
Saturday June 2nd – Stake Conference. We have an assignment to set up chairs in the cultural hall Saturday morning 9am. There will be an adult session of conference at 7pm.
Sunday June 3rd – Stake Conference General Session 10am-12. This is a great opportunity to get counsel from our Stake Presidency and others. Please let me know if you want to come but need assistance or more information.
Furthermore I want to say thanks to Bro McCoy. He taught a great lesson last week based off the talk given by President Nelson.
To all brethren holding the priesthood, I invite you to inspire members to keep their covenants, fast and pray, study the scriptures, worship in the temple, and serve with faith as men and women of God. We can help all to see with the eye of faith that obedience and righteousness will draw them closer to Jesus Christ, allow them to enjoy the companionship of the Holy Ghost, and experience joy in life!
I hope you will join me in taking up President Nelson’s invitation so we may all experience Joy in our lives!

I would also admonish you to read and study the instruction set forth on the proper way to use the Priesthood and give blessings. If you have any questions or concerns please ask. This is something we should not be afraid of but look forward to with the knowledge that we have the opportunity to bless the lives of those around us and bring people to Jesus Christ.

Finally for our lesson today we will be talking about Ministering and going over some new technology that we hope will help us in our endeavors. If you have time go to http://bookcliffeq.blogspot.com/ and check it out. We will discuss it more in depth in class and help everyone get set up with it on their electronic devices. If you do not have a device or are not computer savy this is not mandatory and is in no way going to be the only way of getting things done. This is just another way to help us accomplish our goals.

Brethren THANK YOU for everything you do. This is such a great work to be a part of and I know our Savior loves each and everyone of us and wants us to be happy. The way to find true joy and happiness is through love, kindness, and service to others.
