I hope you had a great week! Just a reminder on things coming up…

Friday June 1^st – Stake Temple Day. It’s not too late to go. Everyone is invited and welcome to come. Our Endowment session is at 1:45pm but you are more than welcome to attend any throughout the day.

Saturday June 2^nd – Stake Conference. We have an assignment to set up chairs in the cultural hall Saturday morning 9am. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Leadership Session at 4pm. There is an adult session of conference is at 7pm.

Sunday June 3^rd – Stake Conference General Session 10am-12. This is a great time to get counsel from our leaders. The visiting General Authority will be Wilford W Anderson. Here is a link to a short bio and some talks he has given…

Last week in Elders Quorum we talked about the new website. This is a tool for you if you would like to use it. You can sign up for ministering interviews, report ministering actions, and get general information about the Quorum. Just follow this link to get to it. http://bookcliffeq.blogspot.com/. There will be updates periodically so feel free to check it out as often as you like.

This week the lesson will be taught by Bro Larsen. He will use the talk given in the Sunday morning session of the last General Conference by Massimo De Feo. The talk titled Pure Love: The True Sign of Every True Disciple of Jesus Christ is one of my personal favorites. We have been taught that the first commandment is to love the Lord with all our heart and the second to love our neighbor. I believe if we can truly learn to follow these commandments everything else in our lives will fall into place and we will find real joy and happiness. Please take a minute to study this talk and prepare to discuss in quorum meeting today.
