Weekly Note

Image result for General ConferenceBrethren

Just a quick note this week…

Big thanks to Bro McCoy for the lesson on how we accept and grow with the all the changes that have come out of the last two General Conferences. I like what Bro Gustavson said about how change is hard but it can be done especially with the help of the Savior and the promptings of the Holy Ghost. A couple of things I’ve learned about real change is it takes time and it has to become part of who you are not just something you do.

It’s like exercise. The first couple months you’re all gung ho and you’re seeing results. Then you hit a wall, the results diminish and it becomes hard to do. But if you make it a part of your life and you do it because it’s just what you do like eating and sleeping the results don’t matter as much. You find joy in the process and you know you’re doing something good. I believe it’s the same with the gospel.

Sunday October 21st –  Jackson Berry will teach us using the talk given by Elder Gong titled “ Our Campfire of faith”https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2018/10/our-campfire-of-faith?lang=eng
Please take a minute to read or listen to.

Please visit the blog site and check out all the new updates. Also while there go ahead and sign up for a ministering interview.http://bookcliffeq.blogspot.com/

Thanks for all you do. Please remember to pray for those who are suffering or struggling right now. If anyone needs anything at all I’m always available.
